The pressure relay is a hydraulic switch signal conversion component that uses liquid pressure to open and close electrical contacts. When the system pressure reaches the set pressure of the relay, it sends out an electrical signal to control the action of the electrical components, realizes the loading or discharge control of the pump, the sequential action of the actuators, the safety protection and interlocking of the system, etc. It consists of two parts: a pressure-displacement conversion component and a micro switch. According to the structural type of pressure-displacement conversion parts, there are four types: plunger type, spring type, diaphragm type and bellows type. Among them, the plunger structure is divided into two types: single plunger type and double plunger type. The pressure switch is a function switch that automatically turns on or off when the set pressure reaches the set value according to the set pressure.
Pressure switches and pressure relays can only be turned on or off at your given pressure, and are used for simple bit control, all of which are switching outputs! Pressure relays are able to provide more output nodes or node types than pressure switches. The pressure sensor output can be either analog or digital, which is convenient for post-stage processing, or it can be turned into a standard transmitter signal for remote transmission.
