A pressure switch is a simple pressure control device that can give an alarm or control signal when the measured pressure reaches a rated value. The working principle of the pressure switch is: when the measured pressure exceeds the rated value, the free end of the elastic element produces displacement, which pushes the switching element directly or after comparison, changes the on-off state of the switching element, and achieves the purpose of controlling the measured pressure.
The elastic components used in pressure switch are single coil spring tube, diaphragm, diaphragm box and bellows, etc.
Switching elements are magnetic switch, mercury switch, micro switch and so on.
The switch form of pressure switch is normally open and normally closed.
The pressure switch is mainly used in the air compressor to adjust the start and stop state of the air compressor. By adjusting the pressure in the gas storage tank, the air compressor will stop and rest, which has a maintenance effect on the machine. In the air compressor factory debugging, according to customer needs to adjust to the specified pressure, and then set a pressure difference. For example, the compressor starts, pumps air to the storage tank, and when the pressure is 10kg, the air compressor stops or offloads. When the pressure is 7kg, the air compressor starts again. There is a pressure difference.
