Water flow sensor refers to the water flow sensing instrument that outputs pulse signal or current, voltage and other signals through the induction of water flow. The output of this signal is in a certain linear proportion to the water flow, with corresponding conversion formula and comparison curve.
Therefore, it can be used for water control management and flow calculation. It can be used as a water flow switch and a flowmeter for flow accumulation calculation. Water flow sensor is mainly used with control chip, single chip microcomputer and even PLC.
The water flow sensor has the functions of accurate flow control, cyclic setting of action flow, water flow display and flow accumulation calculation.
In the water control system which requires more precision, the water flow sensor will be more effective and intuitive. Taking the water flow sensor with pulse signal output as an example, the water flow sensor has stronger advantages in the hydropower heating environment with higher requirements for IC water meter and flow control.
At the same time, due to the convenience of PLC control, the linear output signal of water flow sensor can be directly connected to PLC, even corrected and compensated, and can be used for quantitative control and electrical switching. Precautions for water flow sensor in use:
1. When a magnetic material or a material that generates a magnetic force on the sensor approaches the sensor, its characteristics may change.
2. In order to prevent particles and sundries from entering the sensor, a filter screen must be installed at the water inlet of the sensor.
3. The installation of water flow sensor shall avoid the environment with strong vibration and shaking, so as not to affect the measurement accuracy of the sensor.
Precautions for water flow switch in use:
1. The installation environment of the water flow switch shall avoid places with strong vibration, magnetic environment and shaking, so as to avoid misoperation of the water flow switch. In order to prevent particles and sundries from entering the water flow switch, a filter screen must be installed at the water inlet.
2. When the magnetic material is close to the water flow switch, its characteristics may change.
3. The water flow switch must be used with the relay, because the power of the reed is small (usually 10W and 70W) and is easy to burn out. The maximum power of the relay is 3W. If the power is greater than 3W, it will appear normally open and normally closed.
The flow switch is composed of magnetic core, brass shell and sensor. The magnetic core is made of ferrite permanent magnet material, and the sensor magnetic control switch is an imported low-power element. The interfaces of water inlet end and water outlet end are G1 / 2 standard pipe threads.
